I commented on your other thread and it's nice to see a picture of your Mom. She looks quite pleased with herself holding her quilt and she should be. The two of you are going to make so many wonderful memories quilting together. Have fun!!!

Your Mom is beautiful and the quilt isn't bad either. Don't suppose you share your Mom or that she would consider adoption? LOL I have much to learn and I have a feeling Your Mom has much to teach. Lovely picture, thank you for sharing.

Dazzling, bold, lovely quilt!! This is not a "typical" quilt a "typical 86 yr old." would make! So she is not typical, but UNIQUE! Please tell her we all love this quilt. What is the pattern?

I agree with you that positive encouragement is very important. For all of us no matter the age. Say hi to your mom and tell her that she inspired me.
