    OH, K, that is so my kind of quilt!1 I love all the colors. those 9 patches look really small. How many did it take!

    he has been a real bugger while I was working on this. He would get under my legs covered by the quilt and jump up and bite the backs of my legs. This is the damage he made to my leg last night.

    Each square is 2 inches and the 9 patch is 6 inches. There are 144 9 patches. Total size of 72 inches square. I saw a scrappy 9 patch in a show in 1989 and knew I had to make one. I just love the old scrappy look.

    This one is so fun. You can use all of your fabrics without worrying about if "it goes" and the look is so traditional. Even great for the beginner.

    We just got new carpet for the spare room and the walls are green. The carpet is blue and with this quilt that will be ok.

    Can I say OVER ACHIEVER?! :D :D :D That is awesome. I love 9 patch!!! I can't imagine ever hand quilting. WOW.

    I really enjoy hand quilting. It takes forever but the finished product is so nice. I product of real love.
