I finished the 9-Patch Pizzazz (Judy Sisneros design) from the class I took earlier this month. I am quite happy with the way it came out. Due to a late change in border fabric, I had quite a bit left so I made a second smaller one. Both are machine quilted. The viney leaf pattern is fmq, as are the cranes quilted into the body of the other. I'm just learning fmq but it was a lot of fun. Plenty of mistakes, but not obvious riding by on a galloping horse! Thanks for looking.

Started in class. I named it Tsunami

I have this book, and your quilt has inspired me to try one. I over-analyze things when it is more simple than it looks. I am always afraid of failure to that I will cut something wrong. Love your fabrics and how well it all goes together. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all so much! They were really easy to make, and loads of fun. I'm already looking for more large prints for the next one.
