GREAT!! So great, I'm making these!!! I TRY to make ornaments each year my 14 Grandchildren & 6 children & spouses..and I TRY to personalize them..so this would work perfectly. I'll find a fabric that represents them. THANKS!! for the GREAT idea!

I confess, I have not read this entire thread. However, I was at the Missouri Star Quilt Company to see the Disappearing Pinwheel Quilt Tutorial and could see at the end that there is a tutorial for making these Christmas Ornaments. Take a look. (Check out the Pinwheel Tute - really quick interesting and an easy fabulous block.)

How cute are those? Will definitely have to make some for next Christmas. Looks like a great little car project while DH is driving.

These look like a take on Jenny Rayments fancy fandango? She does fabulous fabric folding, which she refers to as twiddling tweaking and folding
