    Default Advent Tree completed

I just finished this Advent Tree to count down to Christmas for my grandchildren. It is a pattern from Quiltmaker November/December ‘02. ( I have been looking through my mom’s old magazines). All fabric and buttons were from my stash. I made ornaments using WonderUnder on various fabrics. My granddaughters love Matrushka nesting dolls so I made those and some gingerbread people. Also cupcakes, PennState, PeppaPig and a dachshund, our dog of choice. I figure the girls will make more ornaments, the more the merrier. There are 24 buttons, so they can add an ornament every day till Christmas. I am happy to give them a new tradition.

That's so cute! I love the button idea, with them coming from your stash and the little ornaments are awesome. Your grandchildren are going to have so much fun adding ornaments to the tree.
