WOW!! I just love your use of the Kaffe Fassett fabrics - I always find myself a bit intimidated by so much bright color and pattern. I love the quilt but I do think maybe a solid border in one of the deep blues or pink/reds would pull it all together nicely. Great job with your quilt!!

That is a very pretty quilt, and quite complicated. I think a dark outer border would help set off the light colored border. But it's also very nice as-is.

Do you have enuf red from the center star to add a narrow strip (like you have between borders) before binding?

I don't know if it needs more borders. I just keep looking at the beautiful colors and pattern.

I agree; it's beautiful and the yellow does lighten it - I think the red border will make it perfect.

I'd leave it the way it is. A red binding will set it off. Almost finished gal! Keep up the good work. It's beautiful. A winner for sure.

The red binding will be a nice finishing touch.

Personally, I would add the darker pieced border.

And here's why -
The quilt is great as it is, but look how the light border just disappears, even against the wall. It fades out. The darker border will frame the whole quilt, and then the lights will REALLY sparkle.
Ditto to what MTS said....the light pastels will get lost against a wall. And I wouldn't like the red against the pastels but against blue.....DYNAMITE!!!!
