This is my kind of quilt. Makes me happy just to see it. I like it with the 1/2 square triangles, but only if you can put a final border in the blue you have or a darker blue to frame it. Love the quilt, and congratulations!

Not laughing green with envy you did a great job I am not so sure about this one I have read the instructions many times but it still is not in my to do pile!! I like the blue boarder the triangles take away from the braid

it's very nice. depending on the finished size you're shooting for, i think the triangles and then a blue border would look great. it that makes it too big, you can stop now and it would still be excellent.
in a colorful scrap quilt like yours, some more color isn't overpowering, so remember: too much is not enough. LOL!

I agree with the others.
If you need it bigger, check to see if you have enough of any one of the fabrics that you used in the braids to make another plain border.
Otherwise, it's beautiful the way it is.
What are the measurements? Is the top big enough as it is?
