Default After 5 years at quilting I finished my first quilt

I purchased my sewing machine in August of 2010, I have taken numerous quilting classes but 2015 was the year I finished my first quilt. Since it was my first quilt I decided to quilt it myself so the quilting is very basic. The reason I just got around to finishing my first quilt is I retired in May 2015.... more to come.

Beautiful first quilt although it sure doesn't look like a first. You did a great job!

Very nice. I love that pattern. And those paw print fabrics are great with the focus fabric

Looks great. Congratulations on "finishing" your first quilt, quilting it yourself and retiring. Happy Quilting!

Really different, enjoyable, and wonderful, especially for a first.
