I picked up this sweet little Pirate quilt kit at a quilt show earlier this year. I had a little boy in mind when I bought it.

I made the top yesterday and finished quilting and binding it just now.

The kit came with a pattern named, "Arcadia" by Mountain Peak Creations.

I use Chanteclair flannel to back it. I will wash it tomorrow and then son can take it to his friends boy....

all done with pirate hat and all

Thank you ladies, it will go to him today. the only disappointment I had with this pattern is...It had a very cute set up for the blocks, which I was unable to do as the instruction didn't mention to turn the blocks before puting on the little strip of blocks.

The instruction just said, put the 8 1/2 strip on the left of the block and the 9 1/2 strip on the bottom. Now when you go to put it in the arrangement, some of the blocks are upside down, so I had no choice but to put it the way it is, which is still cute but not what I wanted. I trusted the directions, lesson learned.

Great fabrics for a little boy. I like the borders with the inclusion of both the above sea level fabrics with the pirate ships and the below seal level with the octopuses and other underwater life. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Really cute fabric!!! I had made my DGS a pirate quilt along with a matching pillow, pillowcases and valance for his room. He just loves it! Your quilt is really cute. He will love it too.
