This is my customers quilt..... she bought the fabric when she was in Alaska on a vacation. The quilt was not a kit but there was a pattern that gave her the idea and then she made it grow to a queen size. I just love it. She then gave me 10 different places or phrases to write into the borders. I did a cable in the aurora borealis border and then outlining in all the blocks.
This is the one trip that I would LOVE to take.
Thank you for taking a look.

Photo album style! How cool. That's a great way to keep the memories alive. Love the words in the borders too. Thanks for sharing.

What a treasure! You did an amazing job capturing all the reminders for her in this quilt. Now you must make your on journey to Alaska, so you too can make a remembrance quilt. Alaska is on our to do list also and this quilt makes it all that more apparent why.

Beautiful work! The quilt and the quilting are gorgeous.

I have this pattern but haven't made anything with it yet. Love seeing it done! Here's a link to the pattern if anyone's interested:

It looks like a fun quilt, although I may start with the tablerunner :-)

That is really amazing and so different from anything I've seen. The borders make it too. Your work is beautiful, Rose.
