Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try sometime. I already gave this quilt away. But I've got a few others around the house that I can play with photographing (of course, I didn't quilt them). Thanks again.

Thanks everyone for liking this D4P butterfly quilt. Something about D4P's makes me think of butterflies and I started playing with some graph paper and laying out blocks but my husband couldn't see what I was seeing, so that's when I modified the block to make it look even more like butterflies. For those who want to try FMQ, just do it! Work on a small project and have fun. Even a total disaster will be full of learning opportunities and you can always use the experience to strengthen your relationship with your friendly seam ripper, right? FMQ was fun and I'm looking forward to the next small project to work on my skills and apply what I learned from this project. Thanks again.
