Oh, I hope my small bin of Batik scraps is deep enough to give your pattern a try. It would make a beautiful throw to add a bit of color to a living room, family room or across the end of a bed.

This quilt is beautiful! I'd like to attempt to make one similar, but not sure how to start. Could you explain how you pieced the quilt? Did you make the rows, or the columns, or i don't know. They all line up perfectly! How did you achieve that?

I'll include a picture that I hope explains how I made the blocks. If it still doesn't make sense, please let me know.

As to how I put them together, I did them in rows, so that I could iron all the seams in one direction for one row and in the other direction for the next row, so they would nest. Because there are so many seams, there is quite a lot of give so you can "ease" the seams to match quite easily.

Then, I split the entire quilt into three sections, so I wasn't handling the whole thing at once and put the three sections together at the end.

    Clear as mud?
