Beautiful baby and beautiful quilt! Can I ask what kind of batting you used? It looks so soft and cushy. Really great job on the design!

    Thanks :D

I don't know the name of it, our guild buy it by the roll as there is so little choice here in Spain, it's a polyester that's all I know, I would prefer a cotton for babies, but can't get it here :(

    Cheers Jan :D

Koen's coming along fine, his Grandma keeps me updated as she has been staying with the family back in the U.K. since before his birth until the end of the month, I bet she will be sad to leave them

Strawberry blond for sure! And so cute. I'm amazed at the amount of quilting you produce in the time you produce it! Maybe someday for me....

Linda, I did spend ALL days and MOST of the nights on it lol!! I bet it took me at least 40 hours solid work, but I was pleased with it and thankfully so were the family :D

Love it. Love the colors and the pattern. Is it your own or a kit of some sort. And such a cute baby.

No kit, just got an idea and it just evolved like the baby girl quilt I did just before it, I have another idea just about to start it :D

What a cutie-patootie that Koen is!! And the quilt is beautiful.

I can't imagine doing all that applique work, the piecing, and the quilting done in FOUR days. It must have been non-stop sewing for you.
    Well done!
