    This is our friends daughter, Allie, who wanted to learn to sew something. I found this great pattern which was large squares with appliquéd petals on it.

    We spent one day and went to the local quilt shop, where she picked out some FQs. She did all of the cutting, placement and sewing on the front (I made it into a pillow sham for her). She even did all of the edge stitching on each of the petals - she chose a different decorative stitch for each set of petals!

    She was so pleased - it looks fantastic for a first project.

    Great JOB that is beautiful small quilt . I would be so proud if I were her. She seems to be a natural. She may the next famous quilt artist. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
