    Fabric like this would not have been something I would have even taken a second look at. Looking at it in the design you made for it shows how wrong our judgement can be. It is absolutely beautiful! I bet your MIL's sister is green with envy.

    What an excellent way to bring a good person to memory on a regular basis. The fabric was perfect for this pattern.

    Love your story and the purse. I also have an "interesting" piece of fabric from my mother and this may be what I do with it. Thank you for the tutorial!!
