    Default Almost Finished!

I did the Tula Pink 100 Block City Sampler last year (finished the blocks in Sept) as a BOM at one of the LQS. We were able to use our own fabrics, doing 8 blocks a month plus the 4 additional (12 x 8 = 96 + 4 = 100). It was a lot of fun. As part of it, Tula has you name your own blocks.

Tula Pink had several layouts in the book and I liked the Trellis (lap size and only used 64 blocks), but wanted a King size for our bed. Therefore, I had to recalculate the size and I was able to use all 100 blocks (final size: 108" x 108"). As you can see, I had trouble fitting it the frame, so a couple of blocks look like they were cut off.

I also used a double batt (Wool and Bamboo), which made it a little thicker and I forgot to adjust the binding accordingly, so I still have to finish the binding (it's on, but needs to be sewn down). I am also entering in my guild's quilt show in March.
