Thank you all very much. Yes your fabric choices mean everything when doing landscapes. I am lucky enough to seem to be able to pick them pretty well. For all of you that want to do these kind of quilts, I say, grab a pattern and jump on in. They are very relaxing to work on. After you do a couple you'll get the hang of it. They are really not that hard to do.

That is one unbelieveable quilt!!! When I hear "it is not really hard" I always think yeah sure. You have a gift girlfriend. Here we go with patterns again. I still have to master patterns before I can get to landscapes. Have you taken courses in landscaping projects or are you just very gifted??!

All I can say, is WOW. Thanks for sharing your quilt with us. It is awe inspiring. I had a really horrible week. Just looking at your quilt gave me a sense of calm while reminding me of the wonder of all God's creations. You can't know how much you helped me. Thank you.

It is beautiful.... I really doubt that I would ever be good enough to do one like that.. IMHO I think you should enter it in a show...

Thank you and You can do it. It really is all in the fabric selection. I would enter it but I gave it to a friend for a house warming present. Maybe the next one.
