This is a sheet that belonged to my Grandmother, it is 100% cotton and is as soft as anything I have ever felt. It is king sized and fraying and I would like to re purpose it for this quilt. I want to use the body of the sheet and the beautiful border with this jelly roll (Moda-Nature's Notebook)...any ideas?

I was not really wanting to cut it to make squares...the border anyway...wonder if I could divide it and make a top and bottom border?

You could divide it in half (like you said) and use it as a top and bottom border. If you don't have quite enough, you could center it and add part of the sheet to make it long enough, then use the sheet as a side border as well. Or you could use the body of the sheet as a backing. Do you have a pattern in mind for the top? I think this is going to be beautiful, no matter what you do! What a wonderful way to remember your Grandma! :D

I just used those moda fabrics in a purse. They're soft and beautiful. I would use the sheet for a border and maybe add a darker blue for an narrow, inner "zinger" border.

Oh, that is pretty! Quarter the length and use it as an inside border (with mitered corners) for a center medalion. I think it would stand out more that way.
