I did this pattern several years ago for my daughter who wanted it for Christmas wall hanging. Only she picked out icy blues, icy greys ( one had snowflakes in it) some med blue and some whites. Sounds strange, but it was beautiful. Did not take a picture.

I do not know what an EQ5 is but a quilt top like that would take me more time than just whipping something together. It is great fall colors and will make a super item when fall returns.

Fall is my favorite season so I plan to use these colors in a quilt soon as I collect enough FQ's. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

EQ is a computer program that we use to see what a quilt will look like before we start cutting fabric. It means Electric Quilt. You can put real fabrics in there that you actually own and "test" them to see if you like them. It is wonderful.

I really like the pattern you created. In rich fall colors, it will be a stunner. I would be tempted to consider batiks.

THANKS--learn something every day! Go figure, an electric version of what a quilt will look like. Generally, I just use colored pencils and hope for the best. Now that I have my new hard drive with monster amount of space and using Windows7, maybe I will do some searching for this program.

I made this quilt several years ago, using fall colored batiks. I love this maple leaf pattern, and it's very easy to make. Can't wait to see yours finished.

Your talented. I might getting one of those EQ5's in July.
I'll have to get advice from you once I get it. I'm clueless.
Well I guess that is my natural state of mind. ;)
