They are so pretty. I love them all and Amanda did a fantastic job. What a gift you have given her - the reward of trying something new and the wonderful feeling of a job well done. Congrats to both of you.

Thanks for sharing the website. I'm going to have to try one of those with my daughter. She got married a year ago - never showed any interest in my quilting until recently....now we're having fun working on projects together! I think she's secretly hoping for my stash and quilt kits someday!! :) Smart girl!!

Great job Amanda!!! Kudos to you for turning off the TV and taking the time to show her how to sew!!! You're amazing and sew is your GD!!! I can't wait to see the quilt this summer!

Wow, that is awesome you got her to sew! I bet if she had a sewing machine at home she would use it. She would have fun making purses, totes, quilts etc.

I know she will thank you some day! What a special gift to share with her - the gift of quilting! :) It'll be fun to see what she's created about 5-10 years down the line!

Way to go to both of you! Great job. And I know how you feel to get her interested. My 23-year old daughter just asked me a few weeks ago to teach her to sew. I was thrilled. I'd about given up on that. Isn't it wonderful to share something you enjoy so much?!
