Default Amazing - look what I got this morning

Can't hardly believe that someone would sell such a beautiful hand made and stitched quilit - at a yard sale - for $3.00. Bless the soul that made this quilt. It has no holes, and very few stains. I will treasure this beauty.

Planning a picnic this weekend and I know what I will use! I have it in a gentle wash right now.

Yes, I do. Her color selections are amazing - this quilt makes me happy! I feel like I stole it. But it needs to be loved and obviously the current owner didn't love it - I do!

Great find--looks like the fabrics are from the 50's and 60's.

Nice!

I see nice, handmade (and often hand-quilted) quilts at thrift shops all the time, and part of me wants to buy all of them, but another part of me knows I already have more quilts than I know what to do with.

So I just look, and leave them there. Hopefully someone else with more room and/or a bigger heart sees them and gives them a good home!

Obviously someone who had nothing to do with the quilt or the person who made the quilt sold it... only $3??? Good for you

It's wonderful. Glad you were there to rescue it from an unknown demise!
