Thanks for taking the time to share with us. A very beautiful and intricate quilt. I think the quilting goes well with the design and enhances rather than overpowers. It is so interesting so see such work and be able to discuss it with enthusiasts, who each bring their own ideas and share comments. As usual a visit to this board is fun, educational and thought provoking.

Will have to go looking for this pattern now and put it on my list of to-do's. Thanks for sharing, it is beautiful!! As is Rachel's yellow one. If you google her you will see her quilt.

I think its a great quilt but I am in agreement with you - I think it will take away from the beautiful applique especially after its washed. I like the new machines but I tend to like the quilting of yester year that actually shows off designs. Just my thoughts though.
