    Americana bag

I needed something to tote small quilting tools to hubby's condo near the base & to take back & forth to Quilts of Valor, swiped the visual pattern from a QV lady.

It holds a mini mat & so much more, keeping scissors, rotary, needles & such in the inside pocket with a red star button. The bottom has a thick plastic rectangle covered in matching pocket cloth and is completely washable. I could've put plastic in the sides to make it stand up better but it was just too ridgid for me. Hope you like it.

Love it! For the next bag try using fusible fleece in the sides. You get more body and you also can quilt it nicely. Luann

Luann, thanks for the tip, I'll try your suggestion. Need to make more bags for Quilts of Valor presentation quilts.
