That's beautiful!! You are one tough lady to persevere and get it done! WHEW! It will bring joy as you use it. Not sure I'd be nice enough to do one for a daughter...and not for the friend. You get the "Nice Award"!

Beautiful bag. I am going to start a bag this week for my toiletries, and if successful will make the larger one for a weekender. I hate making bags or purses but need one and can't find one I like. I swore off of them after making a duffel bag for our DGD's ballet class, but here I go again LOL Good luck on your second. Maybe it will go together faster, now that you are experienced.

That is a really nice bag. Sometimes when the pattern is off it is hard to like a project, but if you wrote down the "fix-its" you have a wonderful pattern there. Great job, and the piping makes it perfect.
