    Andrew's Cars; a quilt I just finished for a 3 yr. old...

Andrew is a little boy who is having some problems. I met his mother while shopping for fabrics in a thrift store. She asked what I was going to do with the things I was picking and I told her about the quilts I make. She told me about her little boy and some of the struggles he was having. She told me how he lovessss cars and anything else that goes. I got her name and number and I have made this quilt for Andrew. I will be meeting her tomorrow for coffee after my Dr. appt. and give her the quilt for Andrew. I think it will be a wonderful surprise for her and Andrew. Smilessssssss.........

I believe UFOs are like scraps, ferns and dust bunnies. Once you get two, they send spores out into the air and more just happen anywhere the spores meet.

Perhaps you'll be the start of things going right in his struggle. You've done the right thing.

That is so nice of you to do. One of our grandsons was the same way -all about wheels. He would cry about accidents because the car was hurt! Made sense after we learned about Aspergers - form of autism. He is 14 now and doing great - highly intelligent.
