Here is an Angel Quilt that I just finished hand quilting for our quilt guild. They furnished all the blocks, backing, batting and binding already cut. All I had to do was put it together. The pattern I used in the white blocks is a sleeping kitty but photos don't show it very well.

See the kitty??

That turned out so nice & soft & cuddly looking, I'm sure it will be well loved.

Thanks!! But the sad part about making these quilts is knowing that they're going to the parents of a baby that didn't quite make it in this world. Sometimes the quilts are kept as a momento but usually the child is buried with it....

That is so pretty. I love the kitty you quilted. I can see it in the top corner of the first pic. Great job.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!! Fortunately, it looks much better in person than in these photos -- am hoping Santa will bring me a new camera??

That is so sad. My heart goes out to that family.

You made a beautiful quilt and your thoughtfulness is bound to be a comfort to the parents.

Oh Sewjoyce....how sweet of you to make these ((((HUGS))))
You and your guild are so awesome to think of all of these parents at a time like that and provide them with such a heartfelt gift. Bless you all!!!
