Haley is my 15 yr old daughter that is oh so crafty!!! She had been diagnosed with Crohns a while back. She has been doing really good for a while. She has been occupying her time with all kinds of crafts. She is making jewelry, making duck tape items, sewing, and some quilting. She decided to quilt this panel for her youth group teacher. She did all the quilting by herself on a long arm. She also made the label and sewed it on. I helped with the binding. It is all done and wrapped to give to her teacher today.

Her handmade label

Your daughter did a wonderful job. How kind of her to make something so special for a teacher that she's fond of. I'm sure the teacher will be very touched by this.

Wow, she did a great job! Good for her to want to give a quilt to her leader, very sweet!

Always a joy to see our young people taking an interest in an age-old craft. Her meandering is beautiful and on a long-arm! Tell her for me to keep up the beautiful work. Knowing how to sew will aide her throughout her life, not only in general clothing repair but also in the peacefulness it gives to ones heart. Congratulations!
