This is a quilt that I asked for help choosing border fabric a few weeks ago. Many of you liked the straw bales and suggested using something red. This is the combination that I came up with. I used some of my other fabric options to piece the backing. This is a 20th Anniversary gift for my DB & DSIL. Their anniversary was the end of June but they are in the process of moving so I haven't had the chance to deliver it to them yet. As you may have guessed my family has a love of "Farmall" and "International Harvestor" farming equipment.

I adore this quilt. I know the recipients will too. It reminds me of a quilt I want to make for my grandson. "Farmer Burrough's Furrows".

I really like your quilt. I have made several john deere quilts for my family. I had not seen the IH fabric. It is a great farm quilt.
