    Another art quilt for donation

This vase of flowers will be donated to the Silent Auction at my guild's quilt show in July. Proceeds from the Silent Auction are given to High School scholarships. It was fun to make. I guess you might say that I am in a phase of making 3-D art quilts.

Ohhhhhhh I really do love this excellent job! I’m sure it will bring lots of funds for such a good cause. Is there a pattern for this?

Nope, no real pattern ... I just appliqued the basket and then started filling it with flowers!
The large yellow flower directions were in a book: "A Gathered Garden" by Carol Armstrong. I made the blue flowers with a Clover Kanzacshi flower maker.

bet that brings a bunch! I recently did some 3D flowers trying to salvage a disaster on a table topper--while it didn't work I use like the flower I did---will do it again--your wall hanging is just wonderful.

you've done a top notch job, Nita. I like the texture you've created for the vase. It's wonderful that you are supporting scholarships for youth. We always need more of those.
