A friend asked me to make her daughter a t-shirt quilt with all her high school shirts. The daughter wanted it colorful and thick. I had to put two layers of poly/cotton batting to get the thickness. Then i couldn't sew it through the machine. So I big stitched it with some heavy cotton thread. Mom bought a down cover and I used one of the sides for the back.

That's really nice. Love the back on it. My husband wants me to make a T-Shirt quilt using drag racing t-shirts. Will have to do some investigating before I start on this one.

Yep it looks like it would be a nightmare to quilt. It looks great though!

My daughter is saving T-shirts from her kids for the very same thing one day. Tips appreciated!

I learned to say NO to people who want a comforter instead of a quilt. You did great with what restrictions your clients put on you. Job well done.
