Hi this is Rosie from Ohio . I loved these purses that you made. I was wondering if you could give me the name of the pattern, or was this one of yours that you design? It seems to be a good sizes. They are very pretty. Thank you.Rosie

    Hi Rosie,
This is the Bow Tuck Pattern. I bought it on Ebay, but I am sure it is available other places too. Lots of the wonderful ladies (gentlement? ) on this forum have made it. Each one looks so different from the other, I think that is what makes it so neat.

Wow, those are seriously cool. Is there a turorial on how to make these? I am being married this summer and they would make great "from Gramma" gifts for my grandaughters.

If you have made totes before it is basically the same. But if not, I found this tutorial this morning that looks pretty good with lots of good pictures. ( I need pictures!) http://justenoughtime.wordpress.com/...6/01/ladybugs/ When I made this bag, instead of the pockets all the way around the bottom, I put approximately 5" wide X 4" deep pockets on both sides. Then I divided one of the pockets into 2 smaller pockets which are just right for cell phone and keys. Hope this helps. It is a great purse. When I made mine, I couldn't find the batting they asked for around my basement so I substituted the batting they use for pot holders that has the foil in it. It worked great b/c it gave great body to the purse.

I don't think you can do anything wrong when making this purse, it is very versatile. Once I started one my imagination kind of took over, Now I want to try one in almost every fabric I see. hmmmm, maybe I will do that craft fair this fall......
