Cute bag! By the way, how do you like your Sweet 16? Does it make it easier to FMQ?

I love it. Don't know of I will ever be able to do anything except meandering. Took a while to figure the tension out and I've found just use isacord thread. I hope to learn someday.

I lived in Texas in the '80's and absolutely loved the state, I still love just to see the shape of the state, as in our bag. Love it!!!

Your Bow Tuck is darling. I just made a bow tuck and my pocket was not as neat as yours. Did you sew it like the pattern suggested or sew it into the bottom fabric. If I make a second one, I might try sewing it into the seam between the main fabric and the bottom. Tho only drawback I can see might be the quilting. Do you see other problems? How did you sew yours?

Thank you JudyMN! You quilt all 4 pieces first then I sew the bottom front pocket in the seam. It's just easier for me. Well I center the front pocket and sew the sides first. I use heavier fusible interfacing for the pocket and I just use regular quilt batting for the purse and I find fusible batting works better for me on the handles.
