Love that purse. Love the fabrics you used. Where did you get your fabric? What brand is it? I would love to find that fabric. I just bought this pattern last weekend. Have never made a regular size bag. Is it difficult? I need to read over the pattern and give it a try. Love the color of yours. Very elegant looking. The teacher will love it.

beautiful job. My bow tuck is in a bag in my closet and has been living there for maybe three years. I move it around from time to time. Look at it and see the beautiful fabric that I started cutting for it. The i place it nice and neat back in the corner. So happy others can get this bag complete. Maybe this is a sign for me to get mine completed. Thank you for sharing.

How very thoughtful of you to make this bag for your grandson's teacher. I really like your fabric choices because they will be suitable in lots of apparel combinations.

It's quite an old fabric range called 'La Scala' by Robert Kaufman - it's made in Japan. Not sure if it's still in print. It's very easy to make. The pattern recommends fusible Pellon and it's the one I prefer - I find it both thinner and stiffer than others I've tried. Happy quilting!

This is very elegant. Love your choice of colors, this should go with everything and the teacher should love it.
