Default Another finished landscape - this time of Monument Valley, AZ

I've been working on the pattern for this for a long time, and found that the more simple I made it, the better I liked it. In the meantime, a friend showed me how he paints "Moons and planets" with spray paint. I adapted the technique to painting on fabric, and added glitter spray as well. It was nice to make use of a piece of fabric that I painted and thought was really ugly. Now I like it, and it all finally "clicked" in my mind. The plants are stitched by machine, then I hand bead them with seed beads. I finished 3 more last week, but wanted to share it anyway....

Thanks for looking!

Nancy

Wow, your work is beautiful. I liked the way you used several different methods to achieve the end results. Great job!

That's really beautiful! I agree with "simplicity" of it.

Beautiful! A very dramatic scene in the black frame.
