Had to use the seam ripper several times, but now I have made a Bargello quilt! I used the easy pattern from Jordan Fabric's video. Another first: I cut the backing 1 1/4" larger and folded to front to bind instead of my usual method of using the front border folded to the back. I'm also getting the hang of "nesting" seams. (The old me pressed seams open) I've had to develop a system for which direction to press the seams and which end to begin the stitching so that strips stayed straight. Now I'm looking for a more difficult Bargello pattern...
