I have a pattern for my granddaughter and wanted to use those too but I worried about the same thing, she is into touching everything and when I bought some they aren't sewable and I don't trust just peel and stick or even glueing them on. I wonder if they have sewable ones??

It's two quilts in one. How cool. I love them both and the little one is one lucky child.

They make them, but are hard to find - I usually find them on ETSY - these are from England, But you get the idea - http://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/82919...op_home_active

I glued them on but also heated a needle and made hole before sewing the eyes for more security.
