I found this full size stack and whack in a farm print quilt and a quillo in the same fabric at our local Goodwill. I intend to give them to my great nephew and great niece who live on a farm.....
I am thrilled when I find quilts or fabrics but I am thinking of the person who put so much love into the quilts.....I hope they know when I find thm that they continue to be loved and used. As you can see, Oliver loves them too.....

Wow, so glad you rescued them!
I found a nicely done wallhanging at goodwill last year for a dollar! All I could think about was the person who put in the time so the relatives could throw it in a dropbox after their death. :(

Great find! I often wonder when I see quilts and other handmade items at thrift stores or the Goodwill, if the person giving the item away knows the full value of the item. It breaks my heart to think of the person who spent all that love, time, and effort making a personal item, and then it's discarded without much thought. How wonderful that you were able to rescue these treasures and give them a good home. Oliver is wonderful!!!

It is wonderful for you, and nice that you could bring about such a wonderful save of the quilt. But it is sad at the same time.

Your quilt tester has perfect taste, what a find but a shame that they ended up where they did but at least they have found a good home now.
