    I agree, what a gem.
    I believe you are right about teh Workbasket designs. I remember several of those that my Grams did. Lovely.

    Truly a treasure from Granny's days. This is a beautiful quilt and appears to have weathered very very well. You did an excellent job of cleaning, etc.

    What a treasure she has. I wish I had something whole from one of my grandmothers. I have small pieces and scraps, but nothing near to this. Very nice!!

    It looks wonderful! I can't help but think of all the hours spent doing embroidery, then cutting and piecing and finally quilting it. She did a wonderful job on it without any of the goodies we have to help us today! :thumbup: :thumbup: :D

    Gorgeous work and quilt. What a teasure it is.
    I got The Workbasket magazine for years. Threw them all away years ago, got tired of moving them around. I'm not much to hold onto very much stuff.
