Just finished this one last night. The inspiration was a photo in a book about the No. Indiana Amish. It was a double diamond crib quilt in red and black and cream.
Hope you like it!

This is the back, showing the 'freaky fast finish' triangles that AAQI prefers, for hanging the quilt

Absolutely gorgeous! You did a great job! Love those fast finish triangles, but they want them at the bottom too? :-D :-D :-D

Yep, they want them on all four corners. The bottom left is where I put my name and city. The bottom right is for the number that is assigned to the quilt.Originally Posted by n2scraplvr

Most of mine don't really have an up or a down, so it's just where I put the corners.
Glad you like it!

Gorgeous! The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI) is asking for more quilts so they can take 1,500 to Houston. You can find out more info here: http://www.alzquilts.org/paq.html It's a wonderful organization.

Oh lovely, Leslie. Have you registered it yet? I have a couple more almost finished, but thought I would make several and send them at once.

In the photo, I can see that the center squares could be more diamond shaped -- should have started with a clear diamond shape instead of a square. I can try that next! But first, must finish my DQ for the Sept. swap. It is turning out well, I think.
