Okay, so the border is off a little...but the person I made it for will love it and it is a lap quilt, so hopefully she won't notice or a long time.

The borders look fine. I especially like how you layed the blocks in the main center. Nice job.

That came out very pretty and I can't figure out what your saying is wrong. I doubt your recipient will either. My OBW is laying on the bedroom floor. Its about your quilt size. I have fifty percent of the rows seamed together. I tackle one a day as I am already bored of the project. Each block was half done (OBW you dont sew them together as a whole or your piecing insets which can't be fun I think) and now I have to finish sewing the blocks together in rows, then sew them fnished row to finished row. I commend your patience in putting it all together. Wanna finish mine for me?? (lol, surely its fun)

I have been washing fabric lately, found some ideal one block wonder ones. Will try after I complete the baby quilt.

I dont think anyone will notice anything wrong with the border, I dont see anything. These quilts are a lot of work and you did a great job!

It's beautiful... don't worry about 'perfection'. What do you get when you make a mistake in quilting? A warm, cuddly quilt!

I love it! The fabric is stunning and I think your friend is going to love this. I have my fabric and I'm cutting the triangles now. I've placed a few on my design board and I get excited with everyone I do! But...yes there's always one of those (lol) I have only sewn a couple of half-triangles together and I haven't sewn the final hexies together yet. I'm really nervous about doing that.....

Thanks for sharing and I love your first creation!!

Thanks for compliments everybody!!! And yes, she does love it. Gave it to her today, and she was jumping up and down. Went through each hexagon and the colors were perfection for her. Whew!!! Another one down.
The only thing I don't like is lining up the rows by halves, but this was a small enough quilt that I didn't get toooo bored with the whole thing. Have to finish my jungle one now. But time for a change...will on something else for awhile.
