Here's the center of mine.. I'm thinking a narrow black border, then maybe green and the outside border the original fabric. What do you think?

Gorgeous! I think I'd consider a cream(?) colored narrow border to match the light color in the middle and bring out the dark blocks on the edge, and then bring in the other colors.

Try putting the uncut fabrics (the dark you want, and the cream that Ugly Cook suggested) just under the edge of your quilt to a width you're thinking of using and see how it looks to you. I think I agree with her that cream might be the one to make the dark colors stand out.

A small cream border to "contain" then a 4" border of original print with a 1/4 inch flange of the green before the binding. It would look great, lay it out and audition. You can probably come up with something better.

I think the idea of cream would indeed highlight those darker edges. Beautiful work...love the colours.

It's just gorgeous!! :D I also think cream might be the way to go. Try laying different color choices next to the edge & see if you can get a feel for just the right one!!

I love your OBW. What a beauty. The black border would frame it nicely.

Gorgeous. Lots of work there & time. Play with the colors, walk away several times & do something else, come back. Each time you may get a different idea. I'd vote for tone-on-tone cream or very light mauve, then a darker green or the original fabric for binding. It will be beautiful either way.
