Its me again. I am so glad this quilt is done. It is Roman Stripe from quilters cache. I had a lot of problems with this quilt so any suggestion would be great. I am not a starcher but maybe with this quilt I should have started. Is there a suggestion when you have pieces like hst or blocks on point that there is a way to cut them so the quilt doesn't stretch out. It turn out better than I expected though. I wanted the block to be on point, but I can't remember what problems I had back then. I must not have measured very well, or I was anxious to gt it done, but as I was quilting it I had to pull on the quilt and pin in down to stop it from getting puckered. When I got around the end I decided that I would take off the bottom border before I quilted it because it would have been awful. Glad I did the border and the quilt were about 4 inches different. I bet the top border ia off also. Anyway I would love suggestions. Thanks, remember to be kind.

Your quilt is quite attractive!

Another way to make it, would be via the tube quilting technique. It would minimize the stretching problems you mentioned. Plus I think you'd find it would work up much quicker as a tube.
