I'm in the process of cleaning out my fabric stash. I don't have a sewing room so my hubby puts up with our bedroom acting as my sewing room! Anyway, so I'm always cutting scraps to make quilts to keep the room in "check".

I love the quilt. So bright, cheery and looks like it needs to hug someone. Is that an old windmill that I see in the shadow? Reminds me of home.

I've only been quilting for a couple of months so a D9P is a divided 9 patch? If so yes! Hee, hee. I don't know my quilt lingo yet!

Great Job using up your scraps

Tell hubby it could be worse, you could cover the bed and he would have to sleep on the couch  LOL

That is beautiful! I am participating in the 9-patch project starting on the 15th and will be making regular 9-patches, but I may need to see if I can find enough bright colors in my stash to make a scrappy D9P as well...hmmmmm...

If mine turns out half as gorgeous as yours, I'll be thrilled!

I'm in a similar boat with you! My son has partly moved in and I moved my sewing room into my bedroom! It's convient that way....I can just fall out of my chair and right into bed! LOL But I too have to clean up regularly and put stuff away, it may be a good habit forming!
But I love your scrappy quilt, great colors...you did a great job!
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna
