    That's what I used for the setting squares. You can see the outline of a pocket on one of the top triangles.

    My 9 yo GD and I just sewed a simple quilt with her GGpa's shirts; mostly plaids. We tied it and gave it to my SIL. Naturally made her cry to have this part of her dad with her. Made GD feel good to give of herself too.

    I love, love your quilt. I am collecting fabric from mens shirts found at thrift stores. I am kind of picky but there are a lot of nice fabrics in shirts out there in Goodwill, Salvation Army and thrift stores. Thanks for posting.
