Cathie - you made me laugh so much with your name for this! But it's FAR too pretty to deserve that! Sorry I missed it first time out, glad I've seeen it now! You are truly the Queen of Scrappy! It just goes to show why we shouldn't throw scraps away, it's beautiful! And I love the finishing touch of the bows!

Proof yet again that scrappy's rule!!! Just stunning!!!!

(I have the simply crazy tool too. Haven't used it yet. If I ever get around to it I'm sure that I won't get the same results.)

Gcathie - I always love your quilts - and each one is different! This is the prettiest scrap quilt I've ever seen. I'm kinda glad I didn't look at this thread until today - got to see ALL the pictures of the quilt from beginning to end in one fell swoop.

-Your Mom challenged you with an awful lot of scraps.
-I loved it when it just had the white background, and I sighed a big sigh when I realized how much work you made for yourself by making such small squares!
-I sighed again when I saw you had cut out tumblers - and I saw you were making them into 1/4s of wedding rings for a border.
-And then you added a blue border that made all the blue scraps SING! How did you know that blue is my favorite color?
    -Finally, your Dad quilted it.

TERRIFIC FAMILY EFFORT - WHO GETS TO KEEP IT?

P.S. I think you have just about as many scraps left over as you started with!.
