Where did you find the stained glass pattern? Hard to believe it was quick.

What is your "new to me" method...I must admit I am intimidasted by the stained glass quilts.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your opinions with me. I love to read your comments. Some wanted to know where I got the patterns, this is where: Audubon Birds by Carol Krez, Doorways, Windows and Transoms by Anna Croyle, a website called glasscrafters.biz (they have a lot of FREE patterns).

On this wallhanging I used the method ohiobuckeye used for her Stained Glass Wallhangings (this is the name of her post in case you haven't seen them). She uses a black background and fuses her pieces onto it. I started my quilt on Sunday and finished up around 10:00 am yesterday.

Some also wanted to see a closeup of the flowers. The flowers were two pieces sewn together leaving a space to turn them, stitch closed, pinch in half, sew a 1/2" seam about 1/2" from folded edge, open up and sew a button on top then attach to quilt.
