    Another UFO Done - The Lion Sleeps Tonight

    A while back I asked for advice on the quilting of my lion. I took it, and quilted the leaves and echoed the lion, and it came out very nice. Here he is, snoozing away.

    Your lion looks very content asleep under his tree. I like how you quilted it. Nice job.

    Yes, I did. I found an outline of a lion, and drew up the tree free hand. And 65 leaves. Whew!!

    I wish I made that quilt. It's so unique and beautiful! I love it. It looks like it took a lot of time to make it. Love the satin stitch around everything. I did satin stitch around so many stars and it took forever! Great job you did. Still wish it were mine!
