This was started last summer with the intentions of giving it to my granddaughter for her "sweet Sixteen" birthday, but changed my mind and made her a different quilt. Soooo, this was shoved into the closet - just pulled it out recently and quilted it.
I used my embroidery machine for the quilting and did it with vairegated thread so it doesn't show a lot, but I am happy with it. Another one I hope to sell in my garage sale (if I ever get the garage - hubby's is taking his sweet old time getting it empty for me)

Beautiful quilt!

Do you think you'll be able to get a fair price on it selling at a garage sale? Around here people expect to get stuff REALLY cheap at garage sales.

Is there perhaps a consignment craft shop near you? I would think that would be a better venue for a new handcrafted item of any kind, much less a lovely quilt like that.

Well, I am thinkin I will set a price and if it doesn't sell for that, then I will look into other ways of selling the quilts..... I have sold some on E-Bay, but again, people don't want to pay what they are worth on there either.
