    beautiful quilts! very well kept after all those years. I have two that were made by my mom but no one but me are interested in quilts and I have no one to pass them on. Lucky you !

    Oh so nice! I'm glad they're in great shape for their age, as my grandmothers quilt were either chewed up by mice or the "hunter boys" didn't properly put them up after use but I did manage to get two before she passed away and mine are in good shape but stored in space bag. I will pass it on to granddaughter when the time is right.

    I hope your have had them appraised and insured. They are beautiful...the simplicity of the fabric choices is so calming...even the cute scrappy! I'll wager these have not been washed frequently...... Have you considered loaning them to quilt museum for display?

    I am so envious...my grandmother's quilting frame was always up and loaded but I never got one...they are surely a treasure..so glad you got them now...
