This was pieced by my husband's mother and grandmother in the 30's and 40's.
I jointed the rings and hand quilted them. This is my first quilting. There were two wedding ring quilts that I finished by hand

I love it when one generation gets the opportunity to finish something from a previous generation.

It makes you wonder what they were thinking and what was going on in their lives when they were making it.

Very nice work and a lot of memories.

That is so pretty. What a family heirloom. Two different generations worth of work. I'm so glad you decided to finish it.

How absolutely wonderful...the quilt is beautiful...the story of it's making through three generations is so special...please be sure to include all the information on the label that you MUST put on this one! Hat's off to you for completing this for your husband, for the two women who started this top, for yourself, and for those who will enjoy in the future...please label it so they'll know how it came to be. Thank you for sharing it with all of us!
